The definition of Unsuitable, according to the Cambrige Dictiorary, is "not acceptable or not right for someone or something, not suitable"
Fashion’s inspirations tend to derive from the human strengths; This time, however, the Milanese duo of Antonio Romano and Francesco Alagna, founders of Comeforbreakfast since 2010, shuffle the cards with the presentation of a project inspired by the unexplored human weakness and the feeling of inadequacy. Inadequacy in the sense a felt inferiority regarding one's relationship with his surrounding and society in general.
This internal weakness is seen as an added value by the Comeforbreakfast designers; the creative duo interprets the human weakness as a positive force in all its contradiction and in all its beauty and depicts its essence through a photographic series, by Benedict Brink.
The series’s main characters are ten women from New York, who through their personalities and attitudes become an inspiration for the designers’s creations.
The 10 portraits reflect the sophistication and allure that define all women protagonists; Their traits personify the brand’s new iconic pieces.
The exemplary Comeforbreakfast uniform, composed by a blouse and a pair of trousers, is articulated in 10 different fabrics and colors, and becomes an expression of the personality of each woman.
Fact: Comeforbreakfast manages beautifully to redefine the concept of inadequacy.
