Emily Forgot for Berluti's revolutionary Christmas windows

Graphic designer Emily Forgot known for her affection towards the odd, the everyday & the sometimes the surreal. Her playful visual language and image making embrace the element of surprise and continue to innovate and evolve.

In behalf of the Xmas festive season, Berluti is set in the celebratory mood, revealing its Xmas window displays designed by the acclaimed artist Emily Forgot.  

The British illustrator, renowned for her work for the “Fragiles” show at Miami Art Basel in 2007, has created an innovative creative concept for the famous brand. She designed these new window displays as an aperture to an imaginary dialogue between 2D and 3D. An interplay characterized by volumes and false perspectives.  A minimal range of black and white palette for the decorative schemes accentuates the colors of the patinas applied to shoes and accessories, while adding an extra special touch to ready-to-wear items.

 Until January 15th, all Berluti window displays internationally will be revolutionized with a cozy feel- a transformation into theatre sets displaying a traditional festive meal, a smoking room with the company’s favorite gentlemen’s club atmosphere and, last but not least, a dressing room which stands for a hiding place for gifts.
