Once and for all

Music

Continuing our journey through the revitalized era of the narrative music video, this week we discover ‘Once and for All’, a precious little jewel produced by the English Indie outfit: “Clock Opera.”
It follows the established actor Dudley Sutton’s (sadly unfortunate )pursuit of a love interest, through whom he rediscovers, if nothing else, a new sense to life in general. The viewer is simultaneously confronted as well as invited with the oh-so-common but vital concept of ‘living for the moment’.
Clock opera, currently in the studio working on a follow up to 2012’s ‘Ways to forget’ (Moshi Moshi/Island) could be placed sound wise somewhere in-between Elbow and Metronomy.
Watching the video of “Once and for All” I challenge you at most, not to become kind of emotional, if not actually shedding a little tear; the bet is on!
